I have a 2013 Hyundai i20 Magna (O). The issue I am facing is that its mileage is very low. Mostly I drive within the city and though there are frequent stoppages due to traffic lights but there is no bumper to bumper traffic. Yet I never get more than 10 kpl. The car is in excellent condition. It has done 45000 km in 12 years. Servicing is done regularl from Hyundai service station. Tyre pressure is maintained according to manufacturer's specification. I don't overspeed. Then what is wrong? [S

Even with regular servicing and good driving habits, a 12-year-old car with limited usage (just 45,000 km) may suffer from age-related wear in components like the fuel injectors, oxygen sensor, or catalytic converter, which can quietly impact fuel efficiency. It's worth having a diagnostic scan done and checking for carbon buildup or sensor degradation that may not trigger a warning light but still affect mileage.
