Smoked headlamps, black wheels and mild cladding are among the elements that help differentiate the Touring Sport from the regular Innova Crysta; and although small, the visual upgrades are effective. On the inside, features like the red-wood detailing give the Touring Sport’s cabin a, well, sportier vibe. This aside, there’s no other change in the user-friendly and comfortable cabin. There’s a good deal of space, the seats are very comfy and even the third row is usable.
As for the engines, the 2.4-litre diesel unit doesn’t feel sprightly from the get-go but gets into its comfort zone quickly enough. Unique to the Touring Sport is a 6-speed manual gearbox for the diesel that betters the Crysta’s own 5-speed unit. Buyers keen on an automatic will like the 2.8-litre diesel auto’s blend of performance and convenience. The Touring Sport’s petrol engine is pleasant albeit rather thirsty.
Like the Crysta, the Touring Sport handles broken roads with aplomb but can’t completely iron-out smaller imperfections. You’ll also have to contend with a heavy steering.

Each engine-gearbox version of the Touring Sport is available in a single trim only. Be advised, the trims may be same in name to those on the Innova Crysta but the feature sets are slightly different.
