Maruti Suzuki Omni quick review

Let’s start with the positives. The Omni’s small size and tight turning radius make it easy to manoeuvre and the 796cc petrol engine is frugal. You can also load quite a lot of cargo in the luggage bay of its five-seat versions.
In all other aspects, the Omni is far from modern standards. Safety seems to have been given a complete miss. The engine also feels wheezy and strained, the ride is perennially bumpy and even the seats are sub-par for comfort – the Omni is as basic as it gets.

Maruti Suzuki Omni : our choice

There’s not much to choose from. Opt for the five-seater if you plan to use the Omni to carry luggage or cargo.
