Mahindra Verito Vibe quick review

The Verito Vibe might look like a hatchback but it’s actually got a sedan-like boot lid. Unfortunately, the Verito boot’s tiny aperture makes it hard to load and unload luggage. The cabin is simple in look and doesn’t get much by way of creature comforts. Like the Verito sedan, the Vibe does offer fair comfort.
The Vibe’s 65hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine isn’t strong but it delivers reasonable performance and is surprisingly comfortable in stop-go urban environs. A pleasant suspension and tidy handling also work in the Vibe’s favour.

Mahindra Verito Vibe : our choice

The Verito Vibe is not particularly cheap – but if you must have one buy the top-spec D6 trim. It’s the only one to get the safety of a driver’s-side airbag and ABS. Front and rear power windows and an audio player are also part of the kit on the D6; but there are very few other notable features to report.
