Skoda Superb Review

With its well-balanced shape and crisp details, the Skoda Superb looks very business-like, something its target clientele will appreciate. The Superb is classy and scores high on quality and functionality on the inside too but the highlight has got to be the exceptional rear seat space. It’s a place to stretch out after a tough day at the office. And you’ll be able to pack in a lot of luggage in the 625-litre boot on weekend getaways too.
The Superb’s 180hp, 1.8-litre turbo-petrol is, well, superb. The engine is refined and gratifyingly quick and is enjoyable with both 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch auto gearboxes. With 177hp on offer, the 2.0-litre diesel is no slouch either but there is a bit of lag at low speeds and the engine is audible at most times. No complaints for the 6-speed dual-clutch auto, however. Ride comfort on all Superbs is excellent, though the petrols seem marginally more absorbent.
