The Nissan GT-R has been around for a while and that’s most evident on the inside where it looks a bit last-gen now. Quality is so-so for such an expensive car and the rear seats are tight on space. But let’s not get lost in perfunctory details. The GT-R’s job is to excite and it does its job incredibly well.
Armed with a 570hp, 3.8-litre, twin-turbo V6 engine mated to a dual-clutch transmission, the Nissan GT-R is wildly fast. Launch control and all-wheel drive help put the prodigious power down, while the precise steering and fine suspension make it a thrilling drive in the bends. Notably, the GT-R is surprisingly easy to drive too, making it the perfect everyday sportscar for the everyday driver. The low ground clearance does call for care on our roads, however.
