Distinct in look to Alto 800 as it may be, the Alto K10 has the same shortcomings as its cheaper sibling. The cabin is cramped and there are few comfort and safety features. However, the additional outlay over the Alto 800 does get you a significantly stronger engine. The Alto K10’s petrol engine feels really peppy in town and the added performance also comes in handy on the odd highway excursion. The good low-speed ride and light steering also tie-in well with the Alto K10’s status as a city runabout.
