Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Review

Given the Alto 800’s low asking price, it is easy to gloss over the car’s lack of frills. However, there’s no getting around the Alto 800’s cramped cabin and absolutely basic safety equipment. The Maruti Suzuki Alto 800’s 796cc petrol engine makes all of 48hp but has a performance that is actually more than sufficient for typical urban commutes. Fuel economy is also excellent. The CNG version feels subdued in comparison, but its low running costs are sure to appeal to budget-oriented buyers. A small footprint makes the Alto 800 easy to live with in town, and the low-speed ride quality is also surprisingly good.
