The Lexus RX 450h is sharply styled and stands out for its edgy design. It’s slickly done on the inside as well. Material quality is really good but the build is a notch down on rivals. The RX cabin is big on comfort though. The seats are large and accommodating and even rear legroom is really impressive. What could be a deal-breaker for chauffeur-driven owners is the limited rear headroom.
The RX’s petrol-electric powertrain pairs a V6 engine with two electric motors. Combined output stands at an impressive 313hp. Performance is good, with the RX feeling brisk at all times. However, the driving experience is not particularly sporty; the CVT gearbox is the spoiler and while handling, it is crisp but not engaging. Keep the suspension set for comfort, drive at an easy pace and you’ll experience the best of the RX.
