The latest Lexus ES 300h borrows a lot of styling cues from the larger Lexus LS so the look is quite dramatic. It’s new-age Lexus on the inside, too. The dashboard is stylish and material quality is really good, save for some average bits. Unfortunately, its infotainment system isn’t the most intuitive to use. The front seats in the ES 300h are big on comfort while the recline function for its rear seat is something chauffeur-driven buyers will take keenly to.
The Lexus ES 300h’s hybrid powertrain pairs a 2.5-litre engine with an electric motor putting out an impressive combined power of 218hp. You’ll love the silent progress in electric mode and even when the engine does kick in, noise levels stay impressively low. As an added bonus, its fuel economy is also good. The soft and absorbent ride is another ES 300h highlight. All in all, the ES 300h driving experience is more soothing than sporty not that typical buyers will complain.
