Hyundai Eon Review

One look at the Eon and you can tell Hyundai has tried to inject a degree of desirability into the budget car segment. Sure, exterior styling is not to all tastes but the smartly finished cabin does make you feel you've got more than your money's worth. Space and comfort are also more than acceptable by class standards.
The Eon's 0.8-litre engine makes 56hp. While this power number is fair, performance is just average and what makes things irritating is the jerky low-speed power delivery. The 69hp, 1.0-litre engine is smoother, quieter and feels more sorted. Ride and handling characteristics are satisfactory for city driving, but come up short once you hit the highway.
