Ford Mustang Review

The Ford Mustang is identifiable from a mile away and is an absolute attention-magnet in India. It’s well done on the inside, too, with a strong aviation theme in the cabin and even some retro touches. Just don’t expect German-car levels of quality. The rear seats, too, are also only suitable for short stints.
The Ford Mustang is made for large American highways and feels its best whilst covering large distances with the big V8 burbling away in the background. Make no mistake, though – the ‘Stang is also fast when you need it to be. The 395hp, 5.0-litre naturally-aspirated V8 is soulful and if there’s anything to bring up it’s that the 6-speed automatic gearbox is a bit slow. The Mustang isn’t the sharpest sportscar around, but with all the power going to the rear wheels, you can have great fun with it. Features like Line Lock for controlled burnouts only add to the Mustang’s sense of occasion.
