The BMW 3 Series GT does not have the most balanced shape but there’s a positive of the roof extending far back on to the boot deck, and that’s the sense of space in the cabin. There’s loads of room in the back, and coupled with the comfy seat, what you get is one of the best back seat experiences for the money. The 320d diesel is the mainstay of the BMW 3 GT range. Its 190hp engine feels strong and exciting but does get a bit buzzy at speeds. The 330i petrol, on the other hand, is quiet and refined. The 252hp engine builds speed effortlessly and gets better the harder you drive. As for handling, while the 3 Series GT is not as athletic as the 3 Series sedan, it still drives with vigour. Ride comfort is really good too.
