The A5 Cabriolet is one of the most attractive Audis on sale and you can add even more distinction to the look thanks to the colour options for the fabric roof. The roof takes 18 seconds to fold/unfold. Rear headroom can seem a bit limited with the roof in place but there’s ample knee- and shoulder-room for two adults to sit in comfort at the back. The cabin is a high-quality affair but you’ll have to tick a few options to bring the A5 Cabriolet’s interior up to spec.
Petrolheads might not take keenly to the 190hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine’s initial rattle but things settle down quickly enough. Refinement on the go is actually quite good and there’s a good spread of power too. The A5 Cabriolet is not sportscar-quick or sharp but all-wheel drive does help put the power down cleanly, and handling is tidy. Good ride quality is another plus on the Audi A5 Cabriolet.
