British carmaker Jaguar Land Rover has launched the updated Range Rover, Range Rover Sport facelifts at a starting price of Rs 1.74 crore and Rs 99.48 lakh respectively (all prices, ex-showroom, India). 

Land Rover unveiled the mid-life facelifted versions of both the models last year. The flagship Range Rover as well as the Q7-rival Range Rover Sport, both receive styling tweaks to the front bumper which bring them more in line with the Velar. The rear bumper design and the vent trims along the sides are new. While the SUVs get matrix LED headlights as standard, buyers now get the option of stylish pixel LED and pixel-laser LEDs as well. The Range Rover is available in standard and long-wheelbase forms as well.

Both the models get a better-equipped cabin that includes restyled seats; but the noticeable change is the addition of the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system borrowed from the Range Rover Velar. It comes with a twin 10.10-inch setup which promises sharp graphics.

Other features include a leather steering wheel, ambient lighting, three-zone climate control (four-zone for Range Rover), 360-degree surround camera (optional), aluminium tread plates with the Range Rover script on the higher trims, air cabin ionisation that cleanses and purifies the cabin air and adaptive cruise control with queue assist. Fixed Panoramic Roof with Gesture Sun Blind are standard on both while Sliding Roof is optional. Additionally, the RR Sport gets cooled seats at the front and back. 

Both SUVs get four engine options; with each powered by either V6 or V8, petrol and diesel motors. The two petrol powertrains are the 340hp, V6 mill and the 525hp, V8 motor, while the diesel line-up consists of a 258hp unit and a 340hp engine.Additionally, the Range Rover Sport also comes with torque vectoring.
