Maruti Suzuki has launched the CelerioX, the crossover version of the Celerio hatchback. The highlights of the new variant include X-theme-based front grille graphics, side and rear body cladding, and a blacked-out B-pillar. Also on offer is a new orange shade for the exterior.

The interior has been spruced-up with coloured accents as well.

Engine and transmission options are shared with the standard Celerio. The 998cc, three-cylinder petrol motor makes 68hp and 90Nm of torque and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Also, like the standard Celerio, the cross-hatch will get the option of a five-speed AMT as well.

Prices for the cross-version of the CelerioX start at Rs 4.57 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the VXi manual variant and go up to Rs 5.43 lakh for the top-end ZXi (O) AMT variant. Variant-to-variant, the CelerioX is about Rs 8,000 pricier than the standard Celerio.
