Mahindra’s new compact SUV is priced from Rs 7.90 lakh for the base W4 petrol and goes up to Rs 11.99 lakh for the top-spec W8 (O) diesel (ex-showroom, pan-India).

Mahindra dealers have started delivering the new XUV300 from the launch date itself. The company announced the pricing for the new compact SUV from Mahindra earlier today. Prices for the XUV300 start at Rs 7.90 lakh for the base W4 petrol and go up to Rs 11.90 lakh for the top-spec W8 (O) diesel variant (ex-showroom, pan-India).

A quick check from a few dealers reveals that most variant and colour configurations selected by customers are readily available. The top-spec W8 (O) variant comes loaded with a number of segment-first features including front parking sensors, heated wing mirrors and seven airbags.

The XUV300 is powered by a 110hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine, with both mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The company also said today that an AMT-equipped variant for the XUV300 petrol and diesel will launch soon. We can confirm that Mahindra will replace the AMT gearbox on the XUV300 with a torque convertor unit at a later stage.

Key rivals to the Mahindra XUV300 include the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and the Hyundai Creta.
