UPDATE: Hyundai Verna anniversary edition launched at Rs 11.69 lakh

Hyundai is currently celebrating twenty years in the Indian market and has introduced a Hyundai Verna anniversary edition to mark the occasion. The Hyundai Verna anniversary edition will be available in two exterior paint shade options, one being the sky blue shade seen in the picture.

The model will be based on top-spec Verna and gets all-black interiors. It also gets additional equipment like front and rear faux brushed aluminum skid plates, a rear spoiler, contrast black wing mirrors and a wireless charging option like the one seen on the top-spec Creta alog with blue accents on the interior. Additionally, the anniversary edition also gets a sunroof and cooled front seats.

Hyundai is also offering free third party insurance, Rs 20,000 exchange benefit and other freebies on the Verna anniversary edition.

Official prices for the Hyundai Verna anniversary edition are not out yet. It would be safe to expect a premium of around Rs 35,000 over the price of the standard top-spec Verna.

The Hyundai Verna is sold in India with a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.4-litre or a 1.6-litre diesel engine options. The car takes on the likes of the Honda City and the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift.
