Ford’s seven-seat SUV gets a fresh new look and more features for 2019; deliveries to begin after the official launch on February 22, 2019.

Ford is all set to launch the refreshed Endeavour in the Indian market. Dealer sources tell us the price announcement for the Endeavour facelift is likely to happen on February 22, 2019. Bookings for the facelifted Endeavour have commenced unofficially at most dealerships, with the booking amount set at Rs 1 lakh. Dealers indicate deliveries of the refreshed Endeavour will commence after the official price announcement.

We can also confirm Ford will bring back the entry-level, 2.2-litre variant with a manual gearbox and four-wheel drive. This will help Ford price the Endeavour facelift a bit lower than the outgoing model, and also cater to buyers who want a 4WD SUV with a manual gearbox. Additionally, the Endeavour facelift will continue with a dual-tone interior, but will sport 18-inch wheels with a new, unique-for-India alloy wheel design, instead of the 20-inch wheels on the international model (Ford Everest).

Ford is also expected to add push-button start to all variants of the Endeavour facelift, and could also equip it with the power boot lid feature that can be operated by foot.  The Endeavour’s 3.2-litre diesel engine will continue with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and 4WD, just like the outgoing model.

The facelifted Ford Endeavour will have stiff competition in the form of the Toyota Fortuner and the newly-launched Mahindra Alturas G4.

Would you pick the Endeavour facelift over its rivals? Let us know in the comments.
