Coimbatore-based Ampere Vehicles claims to have a decade of experience manufacturing electrical vehicles. Greaves Cotton, an engineering conglomerate, recently acquired a majority stake in the brand. It’s line-up consists of cost efficient scooters in the lower performance segment.
