India Kawasaki Motors has just announced the launch of a new, limited-edition version of the Z900 in black; mechanicals and prices remain unchanged.

While the Z900 was launched earlier with two colours and replaced the Z800, Kawasaki has launched a new limited edition version available in a metallic spark black colour. This version will also get subtly updated graphics.

There will be no changes in the technical specifications or pricing for this new model. It will retain the buttery-smooth, 948cc, inline-four cylinder engine that has been derived from the Z1000. The engine develops 125hp and 98.6Nm of torque.

Speaking on the new arrival Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, said, “Our Z900 received a very positive response. I hope that with this new addition, passionate customers those who waited for this colour will be happy. Responding to the requirements of our customers is one of our most important priorities.”

The Kawasaki Z900 faces off against the likes of the Triumph Street Triple S in the Indian market.
