Benelli announces price reduction on aftersales services

Benelli announced that it’s offering up to 34 percent cost reduction on aftersales services to its customers in India. The Chinese-owned brand recently made a comeback to our market with a new joint venture with Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI), a subsidiary of Hyderabad-based Mahavir Group. The company also announced that the service intervals for its motorcycles have been increased from 4,000km/four months to 6,000km/six months. The drop in aftersales cost will come as a welcome change for existing customers and also play a crucial role in attracting new buyers.

Commenting on the new announcement, Vikas Jhabakh, Managing Director, Benelli India said, “We have taken this decision after receiving feedback from several of our customers. Our on-going national service camp has allowed us to connect with Benelli owners from all over the country and we intend to make further changes to improve the overall Benelli ownership experience.”

The company has also confirmed that it’s planning to localise around 25 to 30 percent of the components, which will enable it to price its motorcycles more aggressively. The current Benelli India portfolio consists of the following motorcycles – TNT25, TNT 300, TNT 302R, TNT 600i, TNT 600 GT, and the TNT 899. It also has plans to introduce the new 302S and the Leoncino in our market next.
