Bajaj’s fully faired motorcycle now available in Racing Red shade; remains mechanically unchanged.

Bajaj Auto has introduced the ‘Racing Red’ colour option for the Pulsar RS200, priced at Rs 1.23 lakh for the standard variant and Rs 1.35 lakh for the ABS version (both prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). Apart from the new red shade, the Pulsar RS200 is also available in ‘Racing Blue’ and ‘Graphite Black’.  Barring the introduction of the new colour option, no mechanical or cosmetic changes have been made on the bike.

Underneath the fairing sits the same 199.5cc displacement motor as seen on the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. The liquid-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder engine produces 24.1hp at 9,750rpm and peak torque of 18.6Nm at 8,000rpm.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 had received mixed reactions at the time of its launch, and is the only fully faired motorcycle in the company’s portfolio. It then received a cosmetic update that gave it cleaner graphics and new colour options that went some way in making the bike more pleasing to the eyes.
